How far along? 16 Weeks 
Total weight gain: 10 lbs. 
Maternity clothes? Not quite. Unbuttoned pants & flowy dresses, yes. 
Stretch marks? Nope
Sleep: Had some bizarre dreams last week, and it is back to night sweats this week. Joy.
Best moment this week: I feel GREAT again- no nausea, just need afternoon naps!! 
Miss Anything? Michelob Ultra
Movement: I felt the first "fluttering" two days in a row this week around 3:00 PM. Very surreal moments. 
Food cravings: PICKLES like cray.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not really. Thank God. I am really feeling well these past 2 weeks. 
Gender Prediction: Girl, although I am starting to question Boy now as we inch our way closer to our appointment.

Happy or Moody most of the time:  Happy and according to hubs, "oddly nice" :)

Sorry guys, this chalkboard has been more time consuming than anticipated, and doing a weekly post has just been flat out hard. So, I have decided every two weeks is completely doable and will be right on target with the doctor appointments. So this is it until we find out BOY or GIRL! :)

Well, I seem to have the shopping down pat, now if only I could decide on some boy/girl names! This child might be well-dressed and nameless when all is said and done. :)

Maternity clothes? Nope. They are too big, but my pants are all getting TIGHT. :( Belly Band here we come. 
Stretch marks? Nope
Sleep: Great! I am now used to the late nigh potty breaks, and this week I had my first dream about baby. It was very surreal.
Best moment this week: Went to the doctor and heard a good solid heartbeat again. This time? 153 
Miss Anything? It is warm outside... I miss by bikini body. 
Movement: Not yet
Food cravings: This week, pickles and Italian food
Anything making you queasy or sick: Chris's cologne got to me Easter Sunday but nothing else other than that. 
Have you started to show yet? Yes, I definitely have gotten thicker but in my butt, thighs AND stomach so I just look like a fatty.

Happy or Moody most of the time:  Happy... but blunt. :)

Note: The dream I mentioned above... I thought I might want to jot it down as it will be quite interesting to look back on.
I dreamt that I was going somewhere, it was cold out and had to wait in line. I had the stroller, but wanted to carry the baby, so I was standing in line, holding Baby Campisi, just gazing at how gorgeous SHE was. Yes, it was a girl in my dream with the most precious little pink pucker, and brown hair. It's weird that I guest the girl part right. I am interested to see if she looks like she did in my dream...

The CRIB is here! Hubs put it together with the help of lil Cop top in about 20 minutes. Nice work, boys. (You can read about this special crib here.)

Copper was acting especially needy this particular moment. I wonder if he senses that this bed is for someone new...?

I can't wait to find out a little more about the babe so I can start working on the details.
Next step- bed skirt/diaper changing pad cover still to arrive!

How far along? 13 Weeks
Total weight gain: ?? I honestly don't know until I go to the doctor on Tuesday but I am thinking only a few lbs.
Maternity clothes? Nope, but it is about time for some stretchy pants and belly bands! I have had to put up two pairs of pants that already no longer fit and I am NOT happy about it!
Stretch marks? No
Sleep: Like a baby! :)
Best moment this week: Last week of the 1st Trimester!!!
Miss Anything? Still missing my sushi
Movement: Not yet. :(
Food cravings: Sno Biz and salads with Raspberry Walnut dressing
Anything making you queasy or sick: Grilled Chicken, my fav, is not so much of a fav anymore.
Have you started to show yet? A little, yes. I am getting "thicker" in my middle, thighs and butt. :(
Gender Prediction: Still think it is a girl... hubs broke down and also told me his gut thinks it is a girl, too.

Happy or Moody most of the time:  Hubs said that I am getting crazier... I honestly might be, but I feel happy! :)
Looking forward to: looking totally pregnant, not just fat... and seeing the baby again on the ultrasound. We have another 5 weeks until that happens... 

THE jenny lind

In the process of gearing up for nursery decorating at our house, one of the top priorities for me was picking out the crib. I knew that once I had chosen a crib I loved, I would be able to plan out fabrics and colors based on the structure and vibe I picked up from that one main piece of furniture.

I ultimately went with the DaVinci Jenny Lind crib for numerous reasons. First off, it is precious. Timeless, simple, goes with everything. Secondly, it is nice and sturdy and is still a crowd-pleaser after all these years (my best friend is actually named after this crib). Last but not least, it is cheap. I'm talking $200 cheap. I knew with a price tag like that, I could paint it, repaint it, use it for a while and then upgrade when the baby grows. I knew I wouldn't be stuck with it forever just because we would still be paying for it.

I am so excited for it to get here. I am thinking that maybe this pregnancy will really start sinking in once this bad boy arrives and the nursery starts transforming. Until then, here are some lovely nurseries using this wonderful wonderful crib in all sorts of stylish and chic ways...

I just love the modern flair with the use of vintage pastels. Just precious.

12 weeks

So Sorry! I was a tad bit sick and under the weather so there is no 12 week picture... I know, I am uber upset with myself that I have already failed at my mission to get a picture a week. Oh well, it is one step closer to me learning to be more flexible as we inch closer to this baby's arrival...

How far along? 12 Weeks
Total weight gain: 3 lbs.
Maternity clothes? Nope, although I have definitely been looking for some less clingy options. 
Stretch marks? No, but I freak about them daily so I have been slopping on the cocoa butter. 
Sleep: Sleep has been nice this past week, but waking up later on break has caused a few nauseated mornings since I have been eating later. I have had a few nights of difficulty getting to sleep, but that is about it.
Best moment this week: 
Miss Anything? 
Movement: Nothing yet!
Food cravings: Strawberries and Creme Sno Biz!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Meat and sweet smells- perfume, air freshener...
Have you started to show yet? a little more pooch, especially if I am not paying attention to my posture. :)
Gender Prediction: Girl! But we played the Necklace game again this weekend- 1st time since I played when I WASN'T pregnant. It had always said Girl but said BOY this time... 
Labor Signs: None

Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Very happy. Starting to have a bit more energy and spent much needed time with my girlfriends this weekend.  
Looking forward to: Next week's appointment with another new doctor, Dr. Christine, and hearing Baby's heartbeat again.
