24 weeks

How far along? 24 Weeks
Total weight gain: I am guessing about 20 lbs- all in my belly and my ass. Seriously, I think I could move mountains with my behind at this moment. :(
Maternity clothes? Probably- but still won't try them on! I am living in stretchy dresses & slinky, comfy pants!
Stretch marks? Not yet! I am checking daily though!
Sleep: Oddly enough, I went 3 whole nights this past week without waking up drenched! That is super exciting to me. But, I am breaking out a bit, so I guess I had to trade one for the other...
Best moment this week: Started planning my baby shower with my girlfriends. Its surreal that there is going to be a baby shower... for ME!?

Miss Anything? We all know I am craving beer, which is kind of weird considering I wasn't a huge drinker before... but we are headed to the beach this week so I am missing being able to bask in the heat all day in my two piece. Instead, all I want to do is sit in my onesie, under a tent, and eat. Boo!
Movement: Rilynn and her movement is driving me nuts. So many girls say it is an all day event. Not over here. Maybe she is just tiny? She stops kicking when I place someone's hand on my tummy. Most movement is after meals and around 10 PM she is most active.
Food cravings: Still loving my ice cream this week. I was all spicy and sour there for a while, but now, I will pass up the pickles for the chocolate. Being that it is 90 degrees outside might also have something to do with it.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nada
Have you started to show yet? Duh.

Belly Button in or out? Slowly pushing its way out.
Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy! Just a bit restless at times.
Looking forward to: Nursery items coming in- should be any day now!

I know, I know. No blackboard picture, AGAIN. This summer is FLYING by. That plus pregnancy brain, I barely know my own name some days, let alone remember it is time to "update the board."
Here are some pics of what has been going on the past two weeks:

My annual high school girls beach trip, this time to celebrate J Welker's bachelorette party. We had such a blast this year.
Beach trip with the family- this has not happened since high school. The weather was perfect, thank the Lord!

All of the fam on the beach

Holding down those beach chairs!
Here is one where you can see my HUGE belly!

Girls Trip! We have now taken this picture 6 years in a row...

Happy Bachelorette, J Welker!

22 weeks

How far along? 22 Weeks
Total weight gain: 17lbs. as of our appointment last week- although I am guessing I have added a lb or so since then.
Maternity clothes? I don't know- I won't dare try them on until I literally can't find anything else to wear.
Stretch marks? Not right now! I am slopping on the cocoa butter and keeping my fingers crossed
Sleep: Iffy. I am seriously sick of having to get up in the middle of the night to grab a towel to put down because my sheets are soaked. I don't get it. I am more uncomfortable when trying to get to sleep right now, but I am out until around 5 after that.
Best moment this week: We had our check up on Rilynn's heart- it looked perfect! All 4 chambers pumping as needed, which is all we can ask for. She, however, was very shy and backed away whenever we tried to get a good look at her.

Miss Anything? I am still missing my Michelob Ultra and 2 piece bathing suit body.
Movement: It too is iffy. She is very active right when I settle into bed at night. Other than that, it is pretty random throughout the day, and nothing constant. I am hoping that means she is chill and can sit still like her mommy- her daddy is the most ADD person on the planet.
Food cravings: Bring on the ice cream! I am talking, I want strawberry or chocolate ice cream every.single.day. Probably why my ass seems huge. Hmm...
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing! Blessed!
Have you started to show yet? Hell to the yea. I am huge over here. At least I think I am. Meaning by the time I am in a wedding next month, and come September, I am expecting to have to be wheeled around in a wheelchair. I don't see how a 5'1" girl can carry all this!

Belly Button in or out? Depends on if I am exhaling or inhaling. :)
Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy! But my lower back is hurting more, as are my feet. So there is a little complaining come late afternoons. Especially if I have been in heels- I am was so certain I was going to be that girl, pregnant in heels! Right now, I am starting to reconsider...
Looking forward to: Finishing the nursery, baby showers & our 4D ultrasound at Week 30!!!!

In other Campisi news, there is not much going on around here. Well, except that I have had Chris completely repaint the den, I bought a new rug and am making new curtains and pillows...nesting at it's finest, eh?
Other than that, I have been enjoying my days at home doing whatever- walking (not so much), laying out at the pool, lunches with my mom and sis, storefront browsing, and gearing up for upcoming beach trips and weddings.

We went to the lake this past weekend to hang out with friends for Denton and Chris's birthday. Copper came along and hung out with his new friend, Jenny. Jenny lives next door with our good friends so hopefully she will help Cop lose a few pounds (I know, I am NOT one to speak on that right about now...).

Here is hubs and I celebrating his birthday. We were being quite sarcastic about how excited we were... hubs is kinda ba-humbug-ish about his birthdays.

Copper meeting his new friend!

Me with the pups at the lake- they were quite exhausted!

halfway point. 20 weeks

How far along? 20 Weeks and I cannot believe it. Only 20 weeks or less to go!?
Total weight gain:   not sure since the doctor's office scale is different from mine, but I feel like I am gaining about a pound a week.
Size of Baby: according to the baby center.com, she is the length of a banana!
Maternity clothes? Almost! I have said goodbye to ALL of my normal pants. Thank God for summer dresses. I had a meltdown last week when it was scorching outside and I had nothing to wear to the store. Hubs was so sweet to then console me, hand me the credit card and told me to go shopping. So I am now sitting very comfortably in a soft, stretchy t-shirt and jersey skirt. :)
Stretch marks? Nope! Fingers crossed it stays that way!
Sleep: Sleep has been better. No night sweats for a few nights, thanks to hubs turning the air down LOW... did have a weird dream the night of May 15th.
Best moment this week: Feeling Rilynn kick, and our beach vacay
Miss Anything? Still missing Michelob Ultra, especially out on the beach and on the boat! And toting the boys around to Florabama has been quite a fete for a pregnant girl.
Movement: We felt Rilynn kick for the first time May 15th. She has been going at it ever since- must have her daddy's legs! Thank God.
Food cravings: Not really. I actually haven't been too hungry except for normal meal times. ??
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope! Still avoiding perfumes at all costs but that is it.

Labor Signs: No
Belly Button in or out?
In between
Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody most of the time:  Happy! But wishing I had more money to spend on all the cute girl stuff!!
Looking forward to: Finishing Rilynn's precious nursery

Note: the dream I mentioned above: I dreamt that I FORGOT I had a newborn at home and went somewhere where I couldn't get home to her and she went her first two days of life without food! What the hell?! I am going to interpret that this means my motherly instincts and worries are kicking in, and I am being my normal Type A self, worrying about keeping her on a feeding schedule...

Another Note: I did not do a post with the chalkboard this time. Among end of the school year stuff, throwing a wedding shower at our house and our beach trip, the time had come and gone before I got a chance! So, here are two pictures from the beach trip this past week. The bump is not very noticeable in the pictures, but trust me, she is out there!

It was a beautiful trip to the beach... the weather could not have been more perfect. It WAS a bit hot for a pregnant lady so I had to get in the water a lot and stay under a tent. AND I was in my first one piece ever and I was not happy about it.

However, we still managed to get me a cheeseburger at Pirate's Cove, Dippin Dots, and ate at Louisiana Lagniappe. I also got a mani/pedi, did some shopping for Rilynn, and visited our ole trusty Florabama a few times.

Rilynn loves the beach already. Most of her kicking for the week was done when I was sitting by the shore. :)  It is hard to believe this time next year, she will be sitting next to us on the beach. We are so excited!
